How do I make a Four in a Row account, and what is the recovery code for?
Accounts are for players aged 13 and over. Choose a username and a password – no email or real name. You are shown a recovery code once: save it, because it is the only way to reset a forgotten password.
Step by step
- Choose Sign in or create a free account.
- Pick a username (3 to 16 letters, numbers, _ or -). Don’t use your real name.
- Choose a password of at least 8 characters and tick “I’m 13 or over”.
- Copy or Download your recovery code and tick “I’ve saved it”.
- You stay signed in on that device for 90 days, and can sign in on other devices.
Questions and fixes
I forgot my password
Press Forgot password?, type your username, your recovery code and a new password. You get a new recovery code afterwards – save that one too.
I lost my recovery code too
Without the code the password can’t be reset, because we don’t keep emails. If you are still signed in somewhere, open Your account and press Make a new recovery code.
I can’t see the sign-in button
Sign-in is hidden for players who answered Under 13 to the age question. You can still play everything as a guest.
