How do I install the free cube app so it works offline?
Press Get the free app – works offline on any cube page. Chrome or Edge: confirm Install. iPhone or iPad: Safari Share, then Add to Home Screen. The cubes, solvers, trainer, timer and patterns then work without the internet.
Step by step
- Open the cube app page, or any cube page.
- Press Get the free app – works offline, then Install the app.
- iPhone or iPad: in Safari, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen.
- Mac with Safari: File, then Add to Dock.
- Open it once while online so it saves everything for offline use.
Questions and fixes
The install button doesn’t appear
Installing needs a browser that supports web apps: Chrome or Edge on Windows, Mac, Chromebook or Android, or Safari on iPhone and iPad (Share, then Add to Home Screen). Firefox on a computer can’t install web apps. Private windows can’t install apps either.
The app doesn’t work without the internet
Open the app once while you are online, so your browser can save the pages. After that it works offline. If you cleared your browser’s site data, open it online again to save a fresh copy.
How do I remove it?
Uninstall it like any other app, or clear this site’s data in your browser settings.
