How do I put Four in a Row on my desktop or home screen?
Look for Install Four in a Row (or Put Four in a Row on your desktop) in the game. On iPhone and iPad, use Safari’s Share button, then Add to Home Screen. The icon is a quick way in; online games still need the internet.
Step by step
- Open Four in a Row.
- Press Install Four in a Row if you see it, then confirm Install.
- On iPhone or iPad (Safari): tap Share, then Add to Home Screen, then Add.
- Open the game from its new icon.

The install button doesn’t appear
Installing needs a browser that supports web apps: Chrome or Edge on Windows, Mac, Chromebook or Android, or Safari on iPhone and iPad (Share, then Add to Home Screen). Firefox on a computer can’t install web apps. Private windows can’t install apps either.
Does it work without the internet?
Online games need the internet. The icon just opens the game quickly in its own window.
