How do I play Four in a Row against the computer?
Open the game, choose Play the Computer, pick Easy, Medium or Hard, and drop your discs. Get four in a line – across, up and down, or diagonally – to win.
Step by step
- Open Four in a Row.
- Choose Play the Computer.
- Pick a level: Easy, Medium or Hard, and who goes first.
- Click a column to drop a disc (or press 1 to 7). On a keyboard, Tab to the board, use ← and → and press Enter.
- Press Undo to take a move back. Play again starts a new game.
Questions and fixes
Which level should I choose?
Easy never looks ahead and is good for learning. Medium looks four moves ahead. Hard thinks as deeply as it can in about a second.
Nothing happens when I click a column
That column is full. Choose another one – it is still your turn.
