Which mode should I pick?
- Learning the game? Start with Connect 4 against the computer on Easy. Nobody’s waiting for you, so you can take your time.
- Want a real opponent? Online multiplayer matches you with another player in seconds.
- Playing someone you know? Use Play with a Friend if you’re in different places, or 2 Player mode if you’re side by side.
- At school? The unblocked version is light and has no chat.
Every mode, same classic rules
All modes use the standard board: 7 columns, 6 rows and 42 spaces. Players take turns dropping a disc, and the first to line up four wins. If that’s new to you, read the rules first. Want to win more? Our strategy guides will help, starting with How to Win.
